Hello again! Here we are with another book review! I’ve been reading a LOT this month! Today’s review is on Brené Brown’s Daring Greatly.*
In this book, Brown talks about being vulnerable and how vulnerability is the prerequisite to living a “wholehearted life”. A Wholehearted Life is one where you show a deep attachment to others, your environment, and even your workplace. You’re okay with failing and showing that you’re vulnerable because it’s unavoidable. If we work to avoid being vulnerable, we lose out on a lot of life.
My biggest takeaway: it’s okay to show vulnerability. It doesn’t mean you’re weak; it means you’re human.
Out of all of the books in my recent reading binge, this one I enjoyed the least. I found it a bit dry for me, especially after reading some of the others in my previous reviews. It wasn’t a bad read by any means, but it’s one I may have to try reading again in the future to fully appreciate.
